WiFi Radio is a simple and easy to use internet radio app. WiFi Radio is free. As in no cost and no on-board adverts.
The app includes 100 top radio stations including stations from the UK, the USA, France, Germany, Spain, and elsewhere. The user can also easily add new stations. So the app can be used anywhere in the world, just as long as the user has access to a valid MP3 streaming URL that WiFi Radio can access.
The on-board instructions are backed up by a website (http://www.oldbracken.co.uk) with more free support.
The app will happily run in the background so you can (example) read an ebook or a PDF while the radio plays.
WiFi Radio is intended to run over a wifi link (hence the name) but it will also run using mobile data. Like any streaming data app WiFi radio can make a serious dent in your monthly mobile data allowance when not using wifi. So the default (but user configurable) operation is wifi only.
There may be no such thing as a free lunch. But there is a free internet radio player - WiFi Radio.
